If you have been reading the paper and watching the news you are aware of a push to prepare us for a "killer epidemic", something that is suppose to hit any time now, this winter or the next. It is interesting that so far only 65 people and millions of chickens have died from the Avian Flu yet scientists and governments are instantly comparing Avian to the 1918 Influenza Pandemic!
The 1918 pandemic lasted 2 years. It would have been shorter except the government started vaccinating people with poorly made and contaminated vaccines! All this did was perpetuate the problem! While the doctors and hospitals were killing people by the millions, non-medical hospitals like Battle Creek, Kellogg and MacFadden's Health Restorium were curing people by using natural methods like water cures, baths and colonics. In the end, drugless doctors were winning the battle against this flu!
The leftovers from the medical cure of 1918 were a disaster. The vaccines used ended up giving the victims infantile paralysis and countless other "syndromes" that ended their lives in total pain and misery. Many of the diseases and syndromes that baby boomers suffer from today come from the tainted vaccinations from the 1950's. Not too long ago a lab pulled a polio vaccine from government storage and tested it using current lab methods. It was so badly made and contaminated in it's original form that it could not be used based on today's standards! Millions of Americans who had those shots are keeping the medical establishment running today.
Bottomline, I and my family have and will continue to pass on vaccines and flu shots. It has been proven to me time and time again that a healthy immune system will take care of any cold or flu coming down the line. Countless herbal formulas exist that can be used to fight off these infections. The oldest recorded herbal formula, Yin Chao Jin, was formulated to be taken when the first symptoms of a cold / flu show up. It is just as effective today as it was 2,500 years ago!
If we do not get into the fear and panic, we will realize that our Creator has provided for every disease that will come our way. U.S. to Test Boosting Bird-Flu Vaccine

WASHINGTON - Scientists will begin testing in January whether they can stretch the nation's limited supply of an experimental bird-flu vaccine by pairing it with an immune-system booster.
Preliminary research with a different vaccine suggests that approach may work, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the National Institutes of Health's infectious disease chief, told a Senate panel Wednesday.
Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., also said lawmakers should pass legislation by Thanksgiving to fund the nation's preparations for a possible worldwide outbreak of bird flu or some other super-influenza strain.
That timetable has important implications:
President Bush has proposed stockpiling enough of the anti-flu drugs Tamiflu and Relenza for 81 million people. The nation has only enough doses for 4.3 million people in stock, and can't order more until Congress approves the money for it, said Dr. Julie Gerberding, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. "We need it now," she said.
On the vaccine front, U.S. health officials already have hired two companies, Sanofi-Aventis and Chiron Corp., to produce $162.5 million worth of vaccine against the virulent H5N1 bird flu, the strain that has killed at least 63 people in Southeast Asia since 2003. The U.S. government hopes eventually to stockpile enough H5N1 vaccine for 20 million people.
But a major barrier is that it requires two huge doses of the H5N1 vaccine to produce a protective immune response.
Chiron recently paired an experimental vaccine against another bird-flu strain, H9N2, with an immune-boosting chemical called an adjuvant. Preliminary testing, funded by NIH, in 96 people showed that adding the adjuvant dramatically lowered the required vaccine dose, results that Fauci called encouraging.
The next step is to test whether adding the adjuvant to the H5N1 vaccine will lower its required dose, he said.
COMMENTS:
Not only do we not have enough vaccine for everyone, we don't know if it will work or make things worse. Whatever the immune-system booster that they are discussing, we have no idea what the side effects may be from this drug. My thoughts would be, if the doctors have an immune-system booster, why are we not using that now for other issues? There are known herbs and herbal formulas to boost ones immune system, no one ever talks about using them.
