By definition, iridology is a science whereby the trained professional can tell from the markings or signs in the iris of the eye the reflex condition of the various organs of the body. In other words, it is the science of determining acute, sub-acute, chronic, and destructive stages in the affected organs of the body through their corresponding areas in the iris. Drug deposits, (over the counter, prescription or recreational) inherent weaknesses and living habits of the client are also revealed in the iris of the eye.
As an iridologist my concern for the colon area grew out of many eye readings. Since every eye shows in detail the weakness of every organ, I was amazed but not surprised to see all the distress in the colon area. After all, this is the area we feel every emotion. Ballooned out areas, that hold the waste, strictures that cause cramping, prolapsed colons causing pain in the female/male reproductive areas, colons resembling the dryness of the desert, all seen in the eye and all easily corrected.
This alarmed me and it confused me, so I went looking for the answers which led me to a career choice as a colon hygienist, a profession that I enjoyed for over 15 years in Michigan.
